These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Elite Cabs Dorset (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a journey you agree to these Terms.
1) Services Covered
Elite Cabs Dorset provides pre-booked airport transfers, long-distance travel across the UK, and event transportation. Pick-ups and drop-offs may include (but are not limited to) Wimborne, Poole, Bournemouth, Ferndown, Verwood, Blandford Forum and surrounding towns and villages.
Local journeys: Local runs in Wimborne and surrounding areas are available only for trips over 10 miles, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
2) Booking & Confirmation
2.1. All journeys are pre-booked and subject to availability.
2.2. A booking is confirmed once you receive confirmation from us (phone, text, WhatsApp or email).
2.3. You are responsible for providing accurate details including pick-up address, date/time, flight details (if applicable), passenger numbers and luggage.
3) Prices, Quotes & Payment (Cash / Card)
3.1. Quotes are based on the information you provide at the time of booking.
3.2. Unless stated otherwise, prices are fixed for the agreed journey. If details change (time, route, extra stops, additional passengers/luggage), the price may change.
3.3. Payment methods accepted: cash and card.
3.4. Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking (for example, in advance or on completion of the journey). If you require card payment, please request this when booking.
3.5. Any additional charges (tolls, parking, airport drop-off fees, extra stops, extended waiting beyond the agreed allowance) may be added to the final fare.
4) Waiting Time & Pick-Up Policy
4.1. Airport collections: Where flight details are provided, we monitor arrival times.
4.2. Waiting time (if any) and meeting instructions will be confirmed at booking. Additional waiting time may be chargeable.
4.3. Non-airport pick-ups: A reasonable grace period may apply. Extended waiting may be chargeable.
4.4. If we cannot locate you and you do not respond to calls/messages, the booking may be treated as a no-show (see Section 6).
5) Flight Delays & Changes
5.1. If your flight is delayed, diverted, cancelled, or you change terminals, you must inform us as soon as possible.
5.2. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, but availability cannot be guaranteed for significant alterations.
5.3. Delays may require rescheduling or may incur additional charges depending on waiting time and availability.
6) Cancellations, Refunds & No-Shows
6.1 Bookings made in advance (7+ days before travel)
If your booking is made 7 days or more before the scheduled pick-up time:
Free cancellation / full refund is available up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pick-up time are non-refundable.
6.2 Bookings made within the last 7 days
If your booking is made less than 7 days before the scheduled pick-up time:
No refunds are provided if you cancel.
6.3 How cancellation time is measured
Cancellation time is measured from the moment we receive your cancellation message (SMS/WhatsApp/email) to the scheduled pick-up time.
6.4 No-shows
A no-show occurs when the passenger does not arrive at the agreed pick-up point within a reasonable time and cannot be contacted. No-shows are charged in full.
7) Stops, Route Changes & Journey Variations
7.1. Prices cover the agreed route and agreed pick-up/drop-off only.
7.2. Additional stops, detours or unplanned drop-offs may incur extra charges.
7.3. For traffic, safety or road restrictions, the driver may take an alternative route.
8) Passengers, Luggage & Capacity
8.1. Passenger numbers must not exceed the legal seatbelt capacity of the vehicle.
8.2. Please notify us in advance of excess luggage or bulky items.
8.3. We may refuse items that are unsafe, illegal, or exceed vehicle capacity.
9) Child Seats
9.1. If you require a child seat/booster, request it at booking (subject to availability).
9.2. Customers may provide their own suitable child seat if required.
9.3. The customer is responsible for ensuring correct suitability and correct installation/use.
10) Behaviour, Damage & Cleaning
10.1. Respectful behaviour is expected.
10.2. Damage caused by passengers may be charged.
10.3. Excessive mess (including spills or soiling) will incur a cleaning fee.
11) Smoking, Alcohol & Illegal Substances
11.1. No smoking/vaping in the vehicle.
11.2. Illegal substances are prohibited.
11.3. We may refuse service where passenger behaviour poses a safety risk.
12) Pets
12.1. Pets are by prior agreement only.
12.2. Assistance dogs are welcome.
13) Service Refusal & Safety
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if passengers pose a risk, exceed capacity, request unlawful actions, or the pick-up location is unsafe/inaccessible.
14) Liability
14.1. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control (traffic incidents, road closures, severe weather, security incidents, airport restrictions).
14.2. We are not responsible for missed flights/trains/appointments due to circumstances outside our control. Please allow sufficient time.
14.3. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded.
15) Lost Property
15.1. Please check the vehicle before leaving.
15.2. Contact us promptly if you believe you left an item behind.
15.3. Return of lost property may require collection or a delivery fee.
16) Complaints
If you have a complaint, contact us within 7 days of travel with your booking details and a brief description. We aim to respond promptly.
17) Privacy & Data Protection

18) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
