Central London transfers
Central London is the one non-airport destination we price in the same way as the airport runs, because it comes up often enough to have a fixed fare of its own. It sits outside the airport table on purpose.
Saloon £270, estate £285 and 6-seat MPV £300, from Wimborne, Poole, Ferndown, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Verwood. The journey is around 110 miles and normally takes about two and a half hours, depending on traffic.

The booking is confirmed
A quote request on its own is not a booking. The journey is only in the diary once you accept the quote and we confirm it back to you. If you have not had that confirmation, please chase us.

Return airport collections
Return legs are booked the same way as outbound ones, at the same fare, and can be arranged at the same time as the journey out.

Yes. We monitor live flight arrival times, so if your flight is delayed or arrives early, your driver’s pickup time will be adjusted automatically at no extra cost.
Where do I meet my driver at the airport?
We provide a professional meet-and-greet service. Your exact meeting point and instructions are confirmed as part of your booking, and your driver will help with your luggage.
How much is a taxi from Dorset to Heathrow?
From £170 in a saloon, £175 in an estate and £195 in a 6-seat MPV, from Wimborne, Poole, Ferndown, Bournemouth, Christchurch or Verwood. The price is fixed and agreed before you travel — there is no meter. Blandford Forum and North Dorset are priced separately.
Is airport parking included in the fare?
Yes. Every fare includes airport parking fees, live flight tracking and 30 minutes of free waiting after your flight lands. There are no hidden charges added afterwards.
Do you charge extra at night?
A £25 night surcharge applies to journeys with a scheduled pickup time between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM. This is the only time-based charge and it is quoted to you before you book.

How far in advance should I book?
Elite Cabs is a pre-booked service, so the earlier you book the more likely your preferred time and vehicle will be available — particularly for early-morning departures and the larger 6-seat MPV.
Which airports do you provide transfers to?
The six with their own pages are Bournemouth, Southampton, Heathrow, Gatwick, Bristol and Stansted, and those are the ones with fixed published fares. Pre-booked journeys to other UK airports can also be arranged, quoted individually and subject to availability and confirmation.
Can I book an airport that is not listed?
Yes. Tell us the airport, the date and the pickup address and we will quote the journey. Only the six airports listed above carry a published fixed fare; anywhere else is priced on the journey itself rather than from a table.
How much free waiting time is included?
Thirty minutes of free waiting after landing, subject to the booking terms. Because the arrival time is tracked from the flight number, that half hour starts when you actually land rather than when you were scheduled to.
Can I book a larger vehicle just for the luggage?
Yes. The vehicle is chosen around whichever matters more — the number of passengers or the number of cases. Four people with four large suitcases are usually better in the estate or the 6-seat MPV, and that vehicle’s fare is the one quoted up front.
Is submitting a quote request a confirmed booking?
No. A quote request is not a booking. The journey is only in the diary once you have accepted the quote and we have confirmed it back to you. If you have not received that confirmation, please call and check rather than assume.
