Elite Cabs Dorset

About Elite Cabs Dorset

Elite Cabs Dorset is a professional pre-booked private hire service based around Wimborne, specialising in airport transfers, long-distance travel and event transport across Dorset and surrounding areas. We focus on punctual pickups, fixed pricing, clear communication and dependable door-to-door service.

Who We Are

Elite Cabs Dorset is a local private hire company based around Wimborne, providing pre-booked taxi journeys and airport transfers across Dorset. Everything is arranged in advance: you tell us where you need to be and when, the fare is agreed before you travel, and the car is there on time.

No meters, no guesswork at the roadside, and no working out what the journey cost after the event. A full list of the services we provide is on the services page.

Our Story

Elite Cabs Dorset was built around a simple idea — that once a journey is booked, you should be able to stop thinking about it. Passengers want a driver who arrives when they said they would, a clean and comfortable vehicle, and a price agreed up front.

That is what we set out to provide, and it is still how we work. We serve Bournemouth, Poole, Wimborne, Ferndown and the surrounding areas, and we take pre-booked journeys much further afield.

What Sets Us Apart

The details are where a journey is won or lost. We confirm the booking, agree the fare before you travel, and plan the timing around when you actually need to arrive.

Our drivers know the local roads, and there is a choice of vehicle so the car that turns up suits the number of passengers and the luggage you are carrying. If your plans change, tell us and we will work around it where we can.

Our Services

Three kinds of journey make up most of what we do. All of them are pre-booked, and the price is agreed before you travel.

Airport Transfers

Fixed-price transfers to Bournemouth, Southampton, Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Bristol, with flight tracking and 30 minutes’ free waiting after landing included.

Local Pre-Booked Journeys

Travel around Wimborne, Poole, Ferndown, Bournemouth and the surrounding villages. Local journeys within Wimborne Minster are subject to a 10-mile minimum distance.

Long-Distance UK Travel

Pre-booked journeys to cities, hotels, stations, ports and cruise terminals across the UK, subject to availability and confirmation.

Why Dorset Chooses Elite Cabs Dorset

Customers come back because the basics are right. The driver arrives on time. The vehicle is clean. The price you were quoted is the price you pay.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used Elite Cabs recently for booking a trip to Heathrow from Wimborne with a return later.
On both occasions John was prompt and contacted us to confirm our bookings. He loaded our luggage for us and his vehicle was clean and comfortable. His driving was excellent and we were able to relax. I have no reservations in recommending him to others. We will certainly use him again.
